The villa is adjacent to the historic stone path of via Sant Anna, leading either to La Spezia town or further uphill to the Cinque Terre. (Approx. 3 hours walk through the dreamy forest, to the first village of the Cinque Terre – Riomaggiore or Porto Venere.)

The train station in La Spezia is 8 minutes’ drive from the villa and trains run to the Cinque Terre almost every hour. (Taxi fare is around EUR 20. —to the Main Station)

The bus stop with regular service is 200 meters from the house.

The ferry port and the seafront are 15 minutes driving distance from the villa.

The well-known and historic restaurant La Gira (1870) is a few minutes’ walk from the house.

An excellent pizzeria and an osteria can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. A small grocery store is also in the immediate vicinity, 5 minutes from the house.

The Villa has 2 adjacent private parking spaces next to the house, which can be reached via an unpaved, small road (2.40 m wide).

Currently this is only possible with a smaller car. We will be happy to help you with the transport of your luggage on arrival and departure. The distance from the house to the street, with free parking along the main road, is 180 meters.

The immediate vicinity of many good restaurants nearby, makes the difference between this location and others. You don’t need to use your car every evening and hassle with parking spaces.

For seaside and sun lovers, for families and groups of friends, the Villa Faerie Queene is the ideal base to visit Liguria and part of Tuscany. You can reach the seaside in 15 minutes by car, both the wild beaches in the Cinque Terre and the more elegant ones of Versilia.

Thanks to the Villa’s strategic location you can easily reach interesting tourist and cultural sights. Portovenere and the Cinque Terre, Golfo dei Poeti (Poets’ Gulf), Portofino and Genova as well as Pisa and Florence.

Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio famous for its boutiques and nightlife (35 minutes) Carrara’s marble quarries (30 minutes), Pietrasanta, the historical and artistic capital of Versilia with the most famous statuary shops (40 minutes by car), Lucca (50 minutes)
