Villa Spenser, also known as Faerie Queene, lives up to its description in every way.

Overall, our experience at Villa Spenser was nothing short of exceptional, and we appreciate the Swiss owner’s attention to detail and commitment to ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free stay.

We were the first guests in this newly renovated house. Everything has been lovingly furnished with the best materials.

The location is unique. You can see the sea from most rooms, and when the weather is clear, even the island of Corsica.

The garden is very well maintained and completely fenced. Our dog, Charly, could run around freely.

The fact that we had to walk 150 meters from the parking lot situated on the main street to the house didn’t bother us.

The many excellent local restaurants nearby are super convenient.

It takes about 10 minutes by bus to reach the main train station. Everything is perfect.

We loved every minute of our stay in this wonderful villa, one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. The villa is restored meticulously and carefully, retaining its character with the addition of countless tasteful details and everything necessary for modern comfort. Albertos meticulous care is evident in everything, also in the supervision of the impeccable cleaning staff. The grounds are beautiful, calm and pleasant. Amazing views over the harbour and out to sea. Good WiFi and air conditioning and Smart TV. Some great local restaurants and a small shop which were a short walk away on the walking trail. I recommend this villa 100% and we can’t wait to return in the future.

Villa Spenser is beautifully situated above La Spezia, making it an ideal location for hiking and mountain biking. The trails leading to the Cinque Terre start just 5 minutes away from the house.

The main bathroom is probably the largest we have ever seen, measuring approximately 25 m2. All the other rooms are generously designed as well. The antique stone flooring throughout the house is a true work of art.

High-speed WiFi is available throughout the entire house and pool area.

We were also given the opportunity to have a late check-out at 22:00 without any additional costs, which was perfect for our plans to drive back home at night.

The landlords were extremely friendly, helpful, and flexible. We would gladly visit again.
